Over 100,000 voters to go to polls locally
25 Feb 2011Over 100,000 voters are set to go to the polls locally today to have their say on who will represent Longford/Westmeath and Roscommon/South Leitrim in the next Dáil.

In Westmeath 58,712 voters are registered to go to the polls, while in Roscommon some 47,215 people are registered to vote.

Tommorow (Saturday) the Westmeath Independent will have live updates from the count centres in Keenagh for the Longford/Westmeath constituency and from Roscommon for the Roscommon/South Leitrim constituency. read more
