"All Shook Up" comes to Athlone's Dean Crowe Theatre

The hit musical "All Shook Up" is in its final days of rehearsal before its big opening night on Saturday, March 3. This year Athlone Musical Society is proud to celebrate its 110th year of bringing hit shows to the people of the Midlands. The show this year is the musical comedy "All Shook Up" featuring some of the music of the late Elvis Presley. Chairman of Athlone Musical Society Mike Kenna said he expected to see large crowds attending this year due to the broad appeal of the musical itself. One girl's dream and a surprise visit from a mysterious leather jacket, guitar-playing stranger help a small town to discover the magic of romance and the power of rock and roll. The music in the show is some of the best-loved rock and roll ever recorded as it features Heartbreak Hotel, Love Me Tender and Blue Suede Shoes to name but a few. It will guarantee to have the theatre audience in full swing throughout the evening. The show runs from Saturday, March 3 until Saturday, March 10.
