Lottery luck for Taughmaconnell woman!

A Taughmaconnell woman walked away with a grand total of €41,000 in winnings after appearing on RTE's Big Money game show on Saturday last. Joined by family and friends on the hit show presented by Brian Ormond and Sinead Kennedy, Ellen Moore from Tobermacloughlin, Taughmaconnell, Ballinasloe was the second highest winner on the night with €41,000 after purchasing her lucky ticket in in Salmon's, Main Street, Ballinasloe. The five players from Kerry (2), Westmeath, Roscommon and Longford won prizes to the value of €194,000. The biggest winners on the night were Cathy Moriarty from Kerry and Kathleen Brady from Longford who won prizes to the value of €56,000 each. The National Lottery's Big Money scratch card offers players the chance to win instant prizes up to €100,000. Five players will be selected each week to appear on The Big Money Game TV Gameshow and have the chance to win holidays, cars and up to €250,000 in cash.
