Unique looks from local knitwear designer

Local knitwear designer Anne Marie Griffin has recently launched her new spring/summer collection.

For a unique outfit for any special occasion Anne Marie Griffin Knitwear has the answers.

Anne Marie, who is from Mount Temple, has a love for knitting and crochet which has been handed down through generations. She specialises in the design and creation of unique handmade garments finished with traditional Irish crochet.

Each item receives individual care and attention in the workmanship where pride in the finished product is paramount.

New creations are inspired by historical heritage and the natural beauty of the local landscape and only top quality yarns are good enough.

Anne Marie launched her collection earlier this year at the Showcase Ireland event in the RDS and received much attention over the four days of the event.

She now sees her collection travel worldwide to Canada, the US and Europe, as well as having wide appeal with Irish buyers at the show. Her ready to wear collection will be in the shops soon.

Anne Marie is available by appointment to make that unique outfit for the special occasion e.g. weddings, confirmations, communions or a day at the races.

For appointment you can contact Anne Marie at: www.annemariegriffinknitwear.com; info@annemariegriffinknitwear.com or at 086 8053467.

Some items of her collection are pictured here and the jewellery pictured is from Mandy Mac Jewellery, Mullingar.
