For autumn winter 2010 Coast represents grown up sophistication and a renewed confidence. The palette is a sumptuous mix of luxe neutrals that accentuate the collections' theme of contrasting textures, this is accented with crimson, kingfisher, deep purple and inky blues.

The camel coat is a certainty for autumn winter '10 and Coast's interpretation is short and simple. The clean lines of the silhouette are punctuated with a sharp black belt making it the key ingredient for a perfectly curated wardrobe. Other looks see you cocooned in statement faux fur and feathers, while sophisticates can indulge in black antique lace.

Separates lend the collection a new versatility. The pieces can be worn in classic combinations, a pussy blow blouse teamed with wide legged trousers, or as feature styles mixed with more relaxed pieces. Texture is key with fabrics ranging from wools to leathers, silks to boucle and chiffons to lace.

Coast celebrates the cocktail hour, excelling this season with signature contemporary styles. The iconic appeal of the dress is honoured through a number of head turning interpretations. The styles are alluring, subtly sexy and instantly desirable. A luscious combination comes in the form of a gold silk jacquard little black dress, with a sheer black neckline. While a simple halter style in delicate purple silk is trimmed with matt ostrich feathers. Floor sweeping maxis use swaths of silk and jersey and feature exquisite embellishment or tarnished sequins.

Finishing touches involve statement cuffs, oversized art deco inspired necklaces, large chandelier earrings and beads and pearls encased in sheer fabrics. The evening bag comes in many guises from diamante box clutches to velvet soft envelope styles and textured silk petal bags. Fur tippets and shrugs and amazing jewelled hair bands complete the look for every occasion.

Coast is located on the ground floor of Athlone Towncentre. To mark the new collection Coast, Athlone Towncentre, will be holding a customer evening tomorrow, Thursday, August 26, from 5-9 to launch the new collection where there would be a small fashion show as well as some bubbly and refreshments.
