€2,000 of jewellery taken during Kiltoom house burglary

Over €2,000 worth of jewellery was taken from a house in the Kiltoom area last week.

The house was broken into on Monday, February 6 last sometime between 5.30pm and 8.30pm in the evening, and various items of jewellery stolen, thought to be valued in excess of €2,000.

A front window was damaged in the burglary. Gardai are looking for the public's help in relation to the break-in, anyone who noticed anything unusual in the Kiltoom area last Monday evening or strange vehicles in the locality is urged to contact Clonark Garda Station 090 6437102 or Roscommon Garda Station 090 6638300.

Meanwhile, a garage in Roscommon town was also burgled sometime between Thursday or Friday last and over €50 diagnostics equipment was taken.

The premises is based at Lanesboro Street.
