While competing her charity walk from Mizen Head in Cork to Malin Head in Donegal. She is receiving support from all the local Lions Clubs while en route.

Karin left Cork on September 19 and is walking 25km to 32km per day. She plans to reach the very top of Donegal on October 10. She came to Athlone from Cloghan and after an overnight stay here to rest her weary feet, she moved on to Roscommon Town the following day.
