Parents Association Charity Fundraiser
Earlier this year the St Clare's NS Parents Association Tubberclair, decided to hold a charity fundraiser. A Roll Back the Years night out was held in Glasson Hotel and Golf Club in aid of Childline, part of ISPCC. A great night out was had by all and €1,009 was raised for charity.
Childline provides a 24 hour listening service for all children up to the age of 18. The service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Community Alert
Following recent events in Tubberclair, the people of the parish are asked to be extra vigilant and report any suspicious activity to Gardaí. Everyone is urged to beware of strangers calling door to door making different inquiries. Anyone with information is asked to contact Athlone Gardaí on 090 6492609 or 090 6498550. Alternatively, you can call 999 and ask for Athlone Gardaí.
Baptismal team meeting
The next Baptismal team meeting takes place on Tuesday, November 3 next at 8.15pm in the Parochial House.
Parent and Toddler Group
The local Parent and Toddler Group now meet every Friday in Tubberclair Community Centre at 10am. All are welcome. For further information call 087 2959826.
Progressive 25
Progressive 25 takes place every Wednesday in Tubberclair Community Centre at 9pm. All are welcome.
