Home and Away's Brax on his way to Athlone

Home and Away hottie Brax is leaving the beaches of Summer Bay behind this December for a date in Athlone!!!

The much loved bad boy, Darryl 'Brax' Braxton, aka Steve Peacocke is set to make a personal appearance in The Palace Bar on December 29 next, an event already provoking serious interest on the internet among local female fans of the hit Aussie teatime soap.

The tattooed hunk is expected to meet and greet Athlonians from 9pm to 11pm on the night as part of his Blood and Sand Tour, before being whisked off to Maynooth later that night where he is expected to continue partying at Mantra nightclub. The Athlone event is part of a plethora of dates around Ireland during December and January for the Australian actor, who once worked as a jackeroo on a cattle station,

The eldest and most revered of the aestetically pleasing Braxton brothers with the Irish tattoo, Brax, a member of the River Boys gang, has proved an enormous hit on the show since he arrived in Summer Bay last year, having plenty of physical confrontations with the police and locals, as well as dangerous secret affair.

"Brax is naturally smart and charismatic, but he is pigeon-holed by Summer Bay; the locals don't trust him - and perhaps with good reason," Steve Peacocke recently said of his character, also famed for his surf stunts on the show and those famous topless beach shots beloved of ladies everywhere.
