Re-MARK-able song celebrates Rohan's Paralympic glory

Athlone songwriter, Eamon O'Neill has released his song "re-MARK-able" on CD in recognition of the double gold achievement of Paralympian Mark Rohan from Ballinahown. Eamon played at the welcome home party and was inspired by the large turnout to write the song. He noted the amount of children witnessing the occasion and the powerful impact Mark Rohan's achievement could have on them.

The song acknowledges his courage and commitment and is dedicated to the entire team of 49 athletes who represented their country at the Paralympic Games in London 2012, to their families and all associated in any way with their achievements. The CD offers a lasting memento for all those touched and inspired by the occasion.

Proceeds from the sale of the CD (€5) will go to the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Dun Laoghaire. and is now available for a limited time in the following shops: Byrnes, Doon; Gavins, Castledaly; Rohans, Ballinahown; Buckleys Super Valu, Moate; Mulligans, Roscommon Road; Super Valu, Monksland; Croughans, Centra.
