Ryan Turbridy will present the Late Late Toy Show tonight, and Baylin's Aaron Ganley will be one of many performers during the show.

Toy Show performance for Baylin boy

Aaron Ganley, aged 13, will perform on the Late Late Toy Show this Friday with the Damhsa Juniors. A pupil of the Concannon/Ganley Academy of Irish Dance, Aaron will be among eight dancers performing as part of the Damhsa Juniors. The traditional Irish dance group formed in August 2012 and subsequently performed in the RDS in September at the International Bar Association Conference. A DVD of the performance was later sent to the Late Late Toy Show and the group was called to audition where they were successful in securing a slot on the well loved yearly Christmas show. Aaron, from Baylin, is a brother of Dairine Ganley who runs the Concannon/Ganley Academy along with Christine Concannon and has been dancing since he was four. Both of Aaron's parents, Declan and Caroline Ganley, were Irish dancers and also performed on the Late Late Show in the 1980s. Aaron is no stranger to the competitive Irish dancing scene, coming second in the 2012 World Championships and winning the All Ireland Championship in 2011. Aaron's intense practice schedule requires a huge amount of dedication which is recognised by his teachers who are immensely proud of his achievements and wish him the best of luck on his Late Late Toy Show debut. Viewers can see Aaron's performance on the Late Late Toy Show, this Friday, November 30, from 9.30pm.
