St Brigid's to host national marching band finals

St Brigid’s GAA club in South Roscommon is the venue for this year’s national marching band finals.
The event kicks off at 1.30pm on Saturday, September 14.
This is a great opportunity for people to see music played in a very competitive environment.
Modern day bands compete in National and International competitions and are judged on visual content, artistic creation, movement and of course musical content.
With Irish bands now competing regularly on the European stage you can be guaranteed the highest quality performances. In the junior class, there are the current European table toppers “The Ravens” from Athlone who are defending their national title and are sure to draw a large local support.
Admission is €5 for adults and children are free
