The search is now on to find the five new leaders for the 2014 series. These leaders need to be willing to radically change their eating and exercise habits, and be prepared to inspire listeners and viewers to follow them on their journey.

In between all the exercise and running after the two boys, she also finds time to do a bit of modeling for a local agency in Cork, which she really enjoys. Kathryn Thomas has launched the new search;
Speaking on The John Murray Show, Kathryn Thomas said: “I am delighted to be presenting the seventh series of Operation Transformation. It’s such an inspiring series and really proves what people can achieve when they put their minds to it. Last year the five leaders inspired so many people as they worked to improve their lives and showed just what can be achieved with focus and the support of the Operation Transformation experts and the whole nation.”
Dr Eva is stepping down;
It has also been announced today that after six successful years on the hit RTÉ One series Operation Transformation Dr Eva Orsmond has taken the decision to step down from her role as an expert with the show.
Dr Eva said: “After a fantastic six years I have reluctantly taken the decision to step down from Operation Transformation I am engaged in developing several new projects in my clinics with a focus on childhood obesity, anti ageing and complete nutritional services. I am also in the process of completing my new book on weight loss, which will be published by Gill McMillan in January 2014. It has been a pleasure to work with the OT team and all the leaders.”
RTÉ Television’s Head of Lifestyle, Grainne McAleer, said: “Dr Eva has been with Operation Transformation since the beginning and has been a very important part of the team. We are sorry to lose her but we thank her for her incredible work helping so many people in Ireland achieve a healthier lifestyle and we wish her all the very best for the future.”
