Car damaged in Montree

Gardai are appealing for information after a car was damaged in the Montree area of Athlone over the weekend.

A window in a parked car was smashed overnight between Friday, March 7 and Saturday, March 8 last. Nothing was taken from the vehicle.

Meanwhile, no injuries were reported following an early morning single car accident on the M6 motorway on Thursday last, March 6.

At around 8.30am, the driver lost control of the vehicle and left the road somewhere between Athlone and Moate travelling eastbound.  No one was injured and no other vehicles were involved.
