Call on business owners to help improve local streetscape

In a bid to improve the appearance of the local streetscape, Athlone Tidy Towns group wants to hear from business owners in Church Street, Sean Costello Street and Castlemaine Street areas on ways they can do just that.

Last year, the group collaborated with business owners in Pearse Street and Connaught Street and were successful in improving the streetscape appearance of both streets.

This year Athlone Tidy Towns would like to replicate this approach on the three streets mentioned, and can provide in the nature of tidying, painting, power washing and planting of flowers and baskets.

A consultative meeting will be held in the Sheraton  Hotel on Tuesday, March 25 next for businesses with ideas or willing to help out, it starts at 7.30 pm.
