There will be a book of condolence open in the Fianna Fáil constituency office in the Manse Castle Street, Mullingar from today (Monday) for anyone who wishes to pay their respects to the late Albert Reynolds.

The funeral and burial of the former Taoiseach, who passed away last Thursday, is taking place today in Dublin.

Westmeath Fianna Fáil TD, Robert Troy, expressed his sincere sympathy to the Reynolds family.

“Albert was a proud and tireless advocate for Ireland’s Midlands and his many successes in public office will remain as a source of great pride in the region long after he is gone,' said Deputy Troy.

'On behalf of my own family and local Fianna Fáil organisation, I offer my deepest condolences to Albert’s wife Kathleen and his entire family'.
