Tv3 aim to trump annual toy show success

Singer Brian McFadden and Xpose presenter Karen Koster will front TV3’s attempt to trump ‘The Late Late Toy Show’ next month, with their own version of the seasonal favourite.

‘The Christmas Toy Show’ on TV3 will broadcast a week before its RTE rival, presented by Ryan Tubridy. Madcap twins Jedward will also feature in the live festive show.

A 30-minute toy show from Tattersalls Winter Wonderland which aired an hour and a half before 'Late Late Toy Show' last year proved a massive rating success for the commercial station, drawing in over 350,000 viewers.

‘The Christmas Toy Show’ on TV3 will take place LIVE from The RDS on Friday, November 21 at 8pm. It will be the opening night of a nine-day spectacular Christmas event for all the family at the RDS, running from November 22-30 next.
