Gardai appeal for information after st marys ns breakin

Gardai are looking for the public’s help after St Mary’s National School was targeted in a burglary last weekend.

It’s thought the intruder may have entered the building via a window or an internal door, a number of which were damaged in the incident at the school building, located on the Grace Park road in the town. The break-in was subsequently reported to gardai on Sunday.

As of yet, it’s unclear what, if anything, was taken from the school in the burglary or when exactly the burglary actually took place.
CCTV footage is to be examined by gardai over the coming days as part of the investigation.
