Video athlone nun appears in youtube clip promoting religious life

A young nun from Athlone has starred in a YouTube video highlighting the positive aspects of religious life. 

Sister Louise O'Rourke, a native of St Ruth’s Park, is among those interviewed in the in the video which coincides with the start of the Catholic Church's Year of Consecrated Life.

Sr Louise said there has been a good response to the clip, which went online in recent weeks.

'People are saying it is very joyful and the film production itself is good quality and professional. It is supposed to be a ‘taster’ so obviously there is so much more which could be in there!' she said.
