Matt leavy to guest with sheerins tonight

The Sheerin Family continue with their regular monthly gig in Cooney’s Hotel, Ballymahon tonight with special guest, Matt Leavy..

Born a native of Athboy Co. Meath, Matt Leavy hails from a very musical family and is rated by Ireland’s top entertainers as one of the best country singers in Ireland.

Matt has shared the stage with such entertainers as Jonny Cash, George Jones, Ricky Skaggs and Buck Owens. In 2013 Matt graced our TV screens with numerous appearances in Glor Tire.

“We are delighted to have Matt back in Cooneys once again as our guest, he was here in 2012 and was a huge success,” says Tom Sheerin of the The Sheerin Family Band.

The Sheerin Family band consists of seven family members out of eleven. The family mMembers include: Paul on Steel Guitar, Dessie on Bass, Danny on Vocals and Acoustic Guitar, The Burn on Piano, Tom on Fiddle, Simon on Drums & Carmel on Vocals and Acoustic Guitar. Their unique sound and crisp harmonies will leave the hairs standing on the back of your neck.
