Home and aways alf stewart to make athlone appearance

One of the best-known characters in the Australian soap Home and Away will be meeting his fans at an event in Athlone next month.

Actor Ray Meagher, who plays Alf Stewart, will be appearing at the Radisson Blu Hotel for a fan Q&A, photo opportunity and authograph signing at 1pm on Good Friday (April 3).

The 70-year-old actor joined the cast of the popular Home and Away series in 1988.
