Video irelands players lift the six nations trophy

These were the scenes in Edinburgh on Saturday as the Irish rugby team celebrated their wonderful acheievement in retaining the Six Nations title.   

This success was a particular cause for celebration in the Athlone area as 21-year-old Coosan native Robbie Henshaw was one of the pillars of the Irish team, making a big contribution in all five games in the campaign.

Ireland claimed the title because they had six more points on the board than England - a fact which underlined the importance of Henshaw's memorable try against England in Dublin at the beginning of this month.
