Heavy rainfall warning in place

Met Éireann has issued a status yellow warning with heavy rainfall expected today.
The national forecaster expects rain with accumulations of between 20 and 40mm.
It issued the warning for Leinster, Munster, Cavan and Monaghan
Met Éireann said “heavy rainfall expected during Friday with accumulations of 20 - 40 mm likely.”
The status yellow rainfall warning is in place until midnight tonight.
In Westmeath, while we can expect heavy rain throughout the day today, tomorrow brings with it a little bit of sunshine, while Sunday’s forecast is mixed and things look slightly brighter on Monday, with mid-day temperatures of 17°C expected.
Roscommon will also experience rainfall today, while tomorrow we can expect cloudy conditions, with a return to the rain on Sunday. Monday looks a little better, with some sunshine breaking through the clouds and mid-day temperatures of 16°C expected.
