MUSIC CONCERT
A coming major attraction at Moore Community Hall, Ballydangan, Athlone, will be a major traditional music concert planned for Friday evening June 26.  Famed traditional musican Gerry Harrington and Charlie Piggott will launch their new album at the concert which will also feature a number of local groups. INFORMATION DAY
'Stay Mobile’ Information Day, organised by the Disabled Drivers Association of Ireland (DDAI), will be held at the Radisson Blu Hotel from 10am to 4pm. Entry is free, with over 20 stands showcasing a range of products and services. The event will be of interest to people with limited mobility, older people, their friends and family, as well as carers and professionals in the healthcare area.

The Luan Gallery in Athlone continues with its impressive exhibition of the works of artists Paul Roy, Daniel Chester and Gary Robinson, which explores themes of consumption, conversation and memory. The exhibition continues until Sunday, June 28.

KIDS MAKE AND DO WORKSHOP

Tang Toddler Group meets every Tuesday morning in Tang Community Centre from 10.30am to 12.30pm. This is a great way to meet other people with babies and youngchildren in the area. BUCCANEERS SUMMER CAMP
Buccaneers Rugby Football Club will hold its annual Summer Rugby Camp from Monday, July 20, to Friday, July 24.
This summer camp is for boys and girls aged 6 to 13 years old and will take place from 9.30am to 2pm daily at Dubarry Park, Athlone. The camp will be run by Buccaneers qualified coaches and the cost is €60 for the five days. Every participant will receive a 'Goodie Bag’.

BALLYMORE FESTIVAL
The Ballymore Country Music Festival takes place on Bank Holiday Monday, August 3. Hodson Mile Swim
The Hodson Mile Swim open water swimming event will take place from the front of the Hodson Bay Hotel on Saturday July 18. There are two swims on the day, a 750m and 1 Mile. Swimmers can enter the two distances for the one entry if they like, The all also get a free t-shirt, free swim cap, free goodie bag, free entry into a prize draw and free warm drinks.
