Tubridy in town for Late Late Toy Show auditions

Ryan Tubridy was ostensibly in Athlone yesterday to visit The Late Late Toy Show auditions in the Radisson Blu Hotel.

However, having pitched up at the new RTE studio in Athlone IT, Tubridy, on a search for a top notch coffee, found himself directed to the nearby village of Ballinahown, where he dined at the tea rooms, before visiting the village shop and the novel 'library'.

He is also believed to have popped into the local national school too.

Of course, if you are visiting the Athlone region, the village of Ballinahown, as the undisputed tidy towns champion of the county, is an ideal spot to relax in.
