Further appeal on Delvin accident which claimed two lives

Gardai have issued a further appeal for information on a three-vehicle road accident at Hiskinstown, Delvin, that claimed two lives on Saturday afternoon.

AIT graduate Amy Sheridan (25) was one of those who was tragically killed in the crash which involved two cars and a truck. Amy was driving one of the cars and a 38-year-old passenger in her vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.

Gardai in Mullingar are continuing to appeal for  witnesses, in particular anyone who may have been on the N52 between Delvin and Mullingar between 3pm and 3.30pm on Saturday to contact them at Mullingar Garda station on 044 9384000,the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
