PJ Martin from Kiltoom

Excitement builds up as Roscommon county football final looms

PARISH pride is very much at the heart of club hurling and football and few people epitomise that as much as Kiltoom man PJ Martin.

PJ has been involved with his club St Brigid's since he first started playing football as a teenager and has experienced both fruitful and barren spells.

There has been much success in more recent years, not least the senior team winning the All-Ireland club title in 2013.

Now, as St Brigid’s prepare for the senior county football final against Padraig Pearses on Sunday, October 23, PJ is eagerly anticipating it.
