Family to buy new tractor after €50k scratchcard win

One Midlands family plans to put a scratchcard windfall to practical use by spending some of it on a new tractor for their family farm.

The Longford family won a cool €50,000 on a Congratulations scratch card.

The lucky wife bought her prize winning Scratch Card in SuperValu Lanesboro, Co. Longford.

The family wishes to remain anonymous, but jubilant staff held celebrations in the SuperValu store to mark the big win this week.
