Another big win for Grenham Travel

Hot on the heels of having won the prestigious Travel Agency of the Year award last year, Marie Grenham and her team in Athlone's Grenham Travel are this week celebrating another major win at the Irish Travel Industry Awards.

Grenham Travel, which is based on Connaught Streeet and celebrated 100 years in business in 2011, won the award for Best General Marketing Campaign last weekend at the annual Irish Travel Industry Awards, in association with Aer Lingus. The event was attended by over 500 travel and tourism professionals from around the world, and Marie Grenham expressed her delight at having been recognised by her peers in the industry once again.

The prestigious awards gala took place in the elegant surrounds of the Mansion House, Dublin, and was attended by over 500 travel and tourism professionals from around the world.

In congratulating all the winners, Cormac Meehan, President of the ITAA, said the main purpose of the travel awards was to “celebrate the exceptional professionals working in our industry.”

He added that 2017 was “a very positive year for the Irish travel trade” and said this was due to the “talented and hardworking individuals in our industry who endeavour to offer quality travel products to Irish holidaymakers.” Master of Ceremonies at the event was RTE broadcaster, Miriam O’Callaghan.
