Fodder crisis update

AN UPDATE on the fodder crisis will be delivered at a meeting of the Irish Cattle & Sheep Farmers' Association  (ICSA) in the midlands tonight.
Officials from the ICSA will provide the update, at a meeting at the Bloomfield House Hotel, Mullingar, starting at 8pm. 
A representative from the meat industry will also be present to discuss the controversial Clean Livestock policy for sheep. All farmers are welcome to attend the event where there will be an opportunity to get assistance in sourcing fodder.
The special guest speakers will be John Kenny of Agritech, who will talk about calf rearing and grassland management, Seamus Fagan of the Regional Veterinary Lab in Athlone and ICSA Sheep Chairman John Brooks. The event is organised by Westmeath ICSA.
