TONIGHT: Public meeting on N55

A PUBLIC meeting on the N55 Athlone to Ballymahon realignment is taking place at Glasson Golf Club this evening at 8pm.
The meeting is organised by locals in Glasson and Tubberclair, who say that the aim is to encourage people to lodge their submissions to Westmeath County Council prior to the deadline of Friday, May 25.
Five options are currently being explored, in addition to six possible links that would tie in with some of those options.
