Center Parcs to recruit 400 Housekeeping staff

Center Parcs are set to host a series of Recruitment Information Sessions across the Midlands for up to 400 vacancies in their housekeeping department at their new Longford Forest facility in Ballymahon.

The Uk-based leisure company says that the roles will be mainly part-time, on Mondays and Fridays from 10am to 2.45pm and a free transport service will be provided from the dozen locations where the Recruitment Information Sessions are due to be held, with feeder shuttle buses from surrounding areas.

Locally, Information Sessions will take place in Athlone on Friday, February 15, from 10am to 1pm, and later the same afternoon in Kilbeggan from 2pm to 5pm. Center Parc recruitment personnel will also be coming to Ballymore on Tuesday, February 26 next from 1pm to 3pm.

The company have yet to announce details of the venues where the Recruitment Information Sessions are to be held, but a spokesperson for Westmeath Jobs Club said venues will be posted on the Club's Facebook page as soon as they become available.

At Center Parc's Recruitment Information sessions, interested candidates will be fully briefed on the range of roles available in the housekeeping department at the Longford Forest facility in Ballymahon and how to apply for them. They will also provide information on how those who are interested in more full-time positions can extend their working hours.

The housekeeping department at Center Parcs has responsiblity for the upkeep of the public areas within the Longford Forest Park, health and safety audits, linen and laundry and accommodation housekeeping duties.
