Fundraisers for Athlone flood relief

Two Athlone hotels are organising fundraisers to help those affected by the recent floods in the town.

The Radisson Blu Hotel Athlone is organising a benefit concert for the flood victims of Athlone on Wednesday, December 9, starting at 8pm

Tickets at €20. All proceeds will go to the flood victims in Athlone through St Vincent de Paul Athlone.

The entertainment includes Keith McDonald Band with John Hogan, Tony Allen, Frankie McDonald, Pascal Brennan, Keith McDonald and many more....

Tickets can be purchased from Radisson Bl Hotel Athlone or Music World Athlone.

The Prince of Wales Hotel is holding a fundraiser to help all those effected by the flooding.

The event takes place on Friday, December 11, at 8pm. There will be live entertainment, a music quiz, raffle and spot prizes.

And one item you definitely do not want to miss is the barman's leg waxing and head shaving! Anyone brave enough should contact roisin@theprinceofwales.ie for further details or to make a donation.

All proceeds are going to the Athlone Flood Relief Fund, so all support is appreciated.
