Moate CS and the Marist College have big games today (Friday) in the Leinster Colleges Championship.

Moate CS and the Marist College have big games today (Friday) in the Leinster Colleges Championship.

Three Westmeath schools do battle today (Friday) in the bid to reach the quarter-finals of this year's Leinster Colleges Senior Football 'A' Championship.

The Marist College, Athlone take on fellow Lake County outfit Coláiste Mhuire, Mullingar at Cusack Park, Mullingar at 2pm.

Moate Community School, meanwhile, are in Navan to take on perennial contenders St Pat's, Navan (also 2pm).

Athlone Community College - winners in 2008 - secured a place in the last eight with victory over Salesian, Celbridge on Wednesday.
