Marist and ACC bid for Leinster semi-finals

BOTH the Marist College and Athlone Community College are this week bidding for places in the semi-finals of the Leinster College SF 'A' Championship.

On Thursday in Kiltoom, Niall Finneran's ACC take-on reigning champions St Mary's, Edenderry at 1.30pm.

The Marist meet Knockbeg College on Friday at Rosemount (2pm), with both schools knowing victories would see them meet each other in an all-Athlone semi-final.

The other semi-final will see St Pat's, Navan play Colaiste Eoin, after they defeated St Peter's, Wexford and Good Counsel respectively in the quarter-finals. For further details of the Marist and ACC games see tomorrow's Westmeath Independent.
