Athlone IT bid for place at Sigerson's top-table

CATHAL Shine is Athlone IT's biggest injury concern ahead of this evening's Irish Daily Mail Sigerson Cup quarter-final against Cork IT (7.30pm, Athlone IT campus). Shine recently picked up a hand injury and is rated extremely doubtful, while there's also concern over Killian Clarke and Colm O'Brien. Cork IT's star player is current Rebel County player Ciaran Sheehan, while Athlone IT boast a handful of Westmeath players including Tubberclair's Gary Connaughton and Maryland's Kieran Martin.
