Dolan and Daly set for Inter-pro football duty

By Kieran Galvin Westmeath duo Dessie Dolan and John Heslin are included in the Leinster squad for this Sunday's M. Donnelly Inter-provincial football semi-final against Connacht. Meanwhile, Niall Daly of Padraig Pearses and Roscommon team-mates Geoffrey Claffey and Cathal Cregg have been named in the Connacht panel for the clash at Pearse Park, Longford (throw-in: 2pm). Meath, Carlow, Laois, Longford, Wexford, Louth and Wicklow are represented, while there are no Kildare or Offaly players on the panel. In the M. Donnelly Inter-provincial hurling championship, Kiltoom resident Anthony Cunningham will bring his Connacht squad - consisting entirely of Galway players - to Tullamore for a clash with Leinster (throw-in: 2pm).
