Season's greetings and Christmas issue deadlines ...

We at the Westmeath Independent would like to wish all of our readers and advertisers a very happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year.

We would also like to thank all of our advertisers and readers for their continued support and loyalty over the last year.

The next issue of the Westmeath Independent will be available early and will be on shelves in your local shop next Monday, December 23, while the following week’s issue will be available at newsagents from New Year’s Day.

If you wish to submit any news items, press releases or sports club notes for next week’s paper, the deadline is this Thursday, December 19 at 5pm.

We look forward to continuing to serve the communities and businesses of the locality for the year ahead.

We wish you all safe journeys over the holidays, whether you are travelling abroad or staying closer to home.

A happy Christmas and New Year to you all.
