Roscommon boss Evans rings the changes for Cavan clash

Roscommon manager John Evans has named his team for Saturday night's Allianz Football League Division 3 clash against Cavan (Kingspan Breffni Park, 7pm).

Both teams have already achieved promotion to Division 2, so the game is an opportunity for both managers to give fringe players a chance to impress. The teams will meet again in the Division 3 final towards the end of April.

As expected, none of the Roscommon U21 players who face Leitrim in the Connacht final on Saturday week are included in the team.

In total, there are nine changes from the side which comprehensively defeated Offaly last time out, a win which sealed promotion for the Rossies.

Donie Shine captains the team from centre half-forward, while there are four St Brigid's players included in the starting XV.

With promotion already secured, Cavan manager Terry Hyland has made four changes from the side that defeated Longford in their last outing.

Team captain Alan Clarke, Packie Leddy, Chris Conroy and Eugene Keating have all been drafted into the team for the encounter versus Roscommon.
