Willow Park FC management team steps down

The Willow Park FC senior management team have stepped down from their positions with immediate effect.

The Frawley brothers, Brian and Conor, were in charge of Willow’s senior side as they won both the Combined Counties League Senior Division and the Paddy Cotter Cup in the season just ended.

However, in a brief statement posted on the club’s Facebook page today, it was announced the brothers were stepping down due to “work and family obligations”.

In the statement, the brothers thanked the Willow Park FC committee and the club’s players for their efforts, and wished the club all the very best in the future. More to follow in next Wednesday’s Westmeath Independent.
