Cribbin keeps the faith as westmeath return to navan

Westmeath senior football manager Tom Cribbin has named his team for the Allianz Football League Division 2 clash against Meath tomorrow night (Saturday) in Navan (throw-in: 7pm).

There are no changes to the team which started the win over Kildare at Newbridge last Sunday.

Two players – Killian Daly and Ray Connellan - who played in the Leinster U21 FC quarter-final against Meath in Navan last Wednesday night are included in the selection.

Meath emerged victorious in the U21 clash (1-10 to 1-8) and Eamon Wallace - who scored 1-2 in that game - has been named in the senior team for tomorrow night. Midfielder Adam Flanagan is also included (see team below) for the clash with neighbours Westmeath.

The Royals were due to play Roscommon last weekend but the match was postponed due to inclement weather.

Meath will take on Kildare in the Leinster U21 semi-finals after the Lilywhites defeated Offaly in their quarter-final encounter last night (Thursday).

In the other U21 FC semi-final, Longford will meet Dublin. Both semi-finals will take place on Wednesday, March 18 with Longford v Dublin in Navan, and Meath v Kildare in Portlaoise.
