Weekend to remember for Rosemount!

There were memorable moments for Rosemount GAA Club at the weekend as they enhanced their trophy cabinet with two county final successes.

On Saturday the intermediate football side defeated Tubberclair by 0-12 to 0-10 in the final in Mullingar.

On Sunday their under-16 team defeated Multifarnham to claim the division 2 title. The team included a number of players from nearby Castledaly.

Meanwhile, Athlone were defeated by Tyrrellspass in the Senior Football Championship semi-final yesterday. Tyrrellspass will now face St Loman's in the final on Sunday week.
