Comments (0) | Print | Email

On Friday, August 28, The Body Shop at Athlone Towncentre will host a customer evening to coincide with the arrival of several new lines in store including their Soft Hands, Kind Heart Hand Cream.

Call in store to meet The Body Shop team and avail of product discounts, samples, free makeovers and skin consultations and some light refreshments between 3pm and 8pm on Friday.

The launch of the Soft Hands, Kind Heart Hand Cream is part of a global Body Shop joint initiative with ECPAT to stop sex trafficking of children and young people. The Children's Rights Alliance and the Irish Refugee Council have joined hands to back this three-year global campaign. Its three aims are to raise awareness of the 1.2 million children trafficked globally on an annual basis, influence the Irish Government to implement stricter anti-trafficking policies and legislation, and empower ordinary people to make a difference.

To accompany the campaign, The Body Shop also launches the Soft Hands, Kind Heart hand cream which is on sale in eleven stores throughout Republic of Ireland for €5.95 (£3.45 donated directly to campaigns and prevention projects against child trafficking in Ireland).
