The public seminar centres on the subject of using medicinal herbs for everyday health problems. "Herbs are an effective treatment for many of the common health problems we live with today. Stress, digestion problems, recurrent respiratory issues including sinusitus, immune boosting, fatigue, hormone support, urinary tract issues, skin problems and weight management can all be treated herbally," Dr Clare explains. They can help you in a natural way, with minimal side-effects, " Dr Clare says, adding that herbs have been used around the world for thousands of years as effective medicines. Herbs remain a natural, effective and generally more cost-efficient way of taking care of ourselves. Where drugs suppress symptoms herbs help the body draw on its own healing capacity. Dr Dilis Clare is unique in Ireland working as both a GP and Medical Herbalist, drawing on her experience in both fields to great effect.
