Rohan takes gold in time trial event

Ballinahown's Mark Rohan has just won a gold medal in the Men's Individual H1 Time Trial event at the Paralympic games in London. Mark took the gold medal in the handcycling event, finishing 11 seconds ahead of his closest challenger. Mark won the gold medal in a time of 35:41.54, followed by silver medalist Koby Lion with a time of 35:53.30, and Wolfgang Schattauer in third place with a time of 38:02.35. Messages of congratulations are flooding into the Paralympics site for Mark.
