Henshaw again included in Ireland senior rugby squad

ATHLONE'S Robbie Henshaw has been included in a 29-man preliminary Ireland squad ahead of next weekend's game with Scotland in the RBS Six Nations Championship. Henshaw has made a meteoric rise through the ranks of Irish rugby this year after a series of sterling displays for Connacht in the RaboDirect Pro12 League and the Heineken Cup. He recently played for both the Ireland Wolfhounds and the country's U20 team and has been included in several of Ireland's senior preliminary squads of late. Chris Henry and Luke Marshall have been included despite Henry suffering a knee injury and Marshall bruising to his thighs. In addition to Marshall, back-row James Coughlan and second-rows Lewis Stevenson and Devin Toner come into the Irish squad as extra cover, after being involved in the early preparations of the championship. The panel could have extra players added to it after further medical reports and the final squad will assemble in Carton House on Monday evening.
