Light rain this morning but brighter this afternoon

This morning will be generally cloudy with well scattered patches of light rain and drizzle. Brightening up and becoming dry through the afternoon with spells of sunshine developing. Feeling mild and humid with highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees, but a little cooler in the north and northwest in a light to moderate northwesterly breeze.

There will be a good deal of dry weather tonight with clear spells. However, cloud will build slightly overnight, with patchy light rain and drizzle developing in the west and north. Some patches of mist and fog will develop also. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees in light southwesterly winds.

Tomorrow will start largely cloudy in the west and north with patchy light rain, though it will be a drier and brighter morning elsewhere with sunny spells and isolated showers. Becoming cloudier across the country by afternoon with outbreaks of showery rain developing. Another warm and humid day with highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees in light to moderate southwesterly winds.

A cloudy night on Thursday with outbreaks of rain and drizzle spreading across the country, turning heavier and more persistent in the west and north towards morning. However, the southeast and east will stay dry. Mild with lowest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees in light to moderate southwesterly winds.

A wet day on Friday but becoming drier and brighter over the weekend. Staying warm also with daytime temperatures in the mid to high teens.

A cloudy and wet start to the day on Friday with outbreaks of rain occasionally turning heavy. The rain will clear to the east through the afternoon and evening, with sunny spells and just a few light showers following from the west. Highest temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees in light to moderate westerly winds.

Largely dry on Friday night with long clear spells and isolated showers. It will become misty and foggy in places overnight in a light variable breeze. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 10 degrees in light winds.

Mist and fog will clear Saturday morning to leave a dry day for most with spells of sunshine, though a few light showers will develop in the afternoon. Highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees in light winds.

Saturday night: Dry with clear spells, though it will turn cloudier towards morning. Lowest temperatures of 6 to 11 degrees with mist and fog developing in places.

Sunday is expected largely dry with sunny spells, through there may be occasional patches of light rain in the west and north. Highest temperatures of 16 to 19 degrees in light southerly winds.

Staying mild for the early days of next week with spells of rain at times.
