New children's clothing range launched in Birr Castle

'Under A Star' is an exciting new children’s clothing range recently launched by Nell Hanbury at its first pop-up shop in one of the Midland's most popular tourist attractions - Birr Castle Demesne.

Stylist and designer Nell Hanbury has launched a new range of children’s clothes with her first pop up opening at Birr Castle for the summer season. 'Under a Star' celebrates heritage craft skills in design, creating small limited collections.

Nell, who is married to Michael Parsons of Birr Castle, says: “Our limited collections are inspired by indigenous hand skilled textiles, that we particularly treasure for their human quality and natural sustainability when consciously created."

"We work with women in business wherever possible and seek working textile partnerships with conscious creators that value craft. Our clothing is classic yet playful and we hope it can be treasured for generations to come,” she comments.

The current collection is available at Birr Castle Demesne shop first featuring these hand block printed cotton children’s pyjamas suitable for children aged from 2 to 8 years old. For the pop up all pyjamas will be discounted by 30%.
