Garda appeal after home ransacked in local burglary

Garda appeal over local burglary

Gardai are looking for the help of local people after cash and jewellery were stolen from a house in the Brideswell area over the weekend.

The break-in occurred when the occupants of the home at Camhill, Brideswell were out from 3pm and 5pm on Saturday.
On their return they discovered the rear door had been forced and the dwelling completely ransacked. A quantity of cash, jewellery and some old style garden pots were subsequently discovered missing.
Gardaí in Roscommon have appealed to local people who may have seen any unusual vehicle movements in the vicinity of this rural dwelling, or anything out of the ordinary, however small, last Saturday to contact Clonark Garda Station 09064 37102 or Roscommon Garda Station 09066 38300 in full confidence.
