Radio presenter and DJ Marty Guilfoyle to hit Karma this Saturday night

DJ and radio presenter on Spin 1038, Marty Guilfoyle will be performing in Karma tomorrow night. Marty has performed a string of gigs across the country over the summer either DJing solo or as half of 'Konmak X Marty.' He has made appearances in Copper Faced Jacks and Everleigh in Dublin and recently DJed with Mark McCabe famous for the track 'Maniac 2000' in Cork.

Marty made his first appearance at a major festival in July at 'Longitude' in Marlay Park. The club DJ also performed at the well-known BCM Planet Dance in Magaluf over the summer. The DJ has gained a lot of fans from co-hosting the Zoo Crew on Spin1038 with social media star Doireann Garrihy on week nights. They play the best in new music and talk about the latest news in the media. The duo celebrated one year together on the air in June. He also previously hosted ‘The Takeover’ on Beat 102 103. In 2015 Marty received a nomination for 'Music Broadcaster of the Year ' at the PPI Radio Awards.

Marty formed 'Konmak X Marty' with fellow DJ Konmak aka Conor McEvoy in June 2015. They have headlined the illustrious Pacha Nightclub in Macau, China and the Basement in Mallorca. Their most recent track 'Get Down' was released on August 3. Their first song 'Stand By Me' ft. Ella Hickey received over 40,000 views on YouTube and reached number two on the Spotify chart and 21 on the Shazam chart .While their song 'Front2Back' (Kozmø Remix) with Sonny Bass is up to almost 90,000 views on the video-sharing platform. The have impressively supported big names such as Sash, Basshunter, The Disciples, Djs From Mars, Laidback Luke, Will Sparks, Example and Steve Aoki.
